Badminton player Prakash Padukone, better known as doting dad of actress Deepika and golfer Anisha has made it to English textbooks in schools. A fan had recently posted a picture of a text book page with the caption saying: “It was a piece in a school comprehension book.” Deepika who had first made the letter public by reading out excerpts of it at an award function, moving everyone to tears, has reacted to this with a “Wow” on Twitter.
Prakash Padukone had written a letter addressed to both his daughters on the lessons life taught him and on how, in a very negative world of work, competition and fame only hard work and passion can turn them into game changers . Deepika and Anisha have both chosen to follow their dreams and this has made Prakash a proud father. However, he mentioned in the letter that as his daughters and as human beings they should keep their feet rooted to the ground.
The letter addressed as “A letter from a father” is part of a school unit work as figured from the viral pictures. Deepika is now a proud daughter, needless to say. The letter went to be viral. Deepika read out the realities of fame and family balance while receiving an award. Rooted to her family and indeed a very family person, the actress has touched hearts with that gesture.
Prakash Padukone has been unavailable for comments yet, but we know the badminton ace will be pleasantly surprised at this gesture. However, it is not clear as to which board or standard these text books belong, owing to speculations of being false. True or not, this letter from Prakash Padukone to both his daughters has successfully made a mark in everyone’s heart.
