Salman Khan, the sultan of Bollywood has worked in many films in different genres like comedy, drama, romance and action. Recently, he was been approached by Remo D’Souza to play the lead role in the third installment of the ABCD franchise paired alongside Jacqueline Fernandez. The first two parts ABCD and ABCD 2 were appreciated by audience and critics.
‘ABCD’ (Anybody Can Dance) is a dance drama film. The first installment of the ABCD franchise was released in 2013 . It had Prabhu Deva, the dancing legend of India, Kay Kay Menon and Ganesh Acharya in the lead roles. ABCD 2 was released in 2015 and it got positive reviews from the audience.
‘ABCD’ franchise is directed and choreographed by Remo D’Souza. The latter is one among the most popular choreographers in India. Now he is all geared up for the third installment. Speculations were rife that Remo D’Souza has finalized Salman Khan to play the lead role paired opposite Jacqueline Fernandez. However there is no official confirmation about the same from Remo.
Here’s what Salman said in a report to DNA, one of the leading daily in India: “Yes, Remo’s film will have Jacqueline and me. She’s a superbly talented dancer and she will do a brilliant job.” Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez have worked together in Sajid Nadiadwals’s movie Kick. If everything goes well then this will be the first dance movie for Salman Khan.
